On Wednesday, we had a hat day fundraiser for the Valdez family. Some students also got to participate in fun pumpkin activities!

Just a reminder that we don't have school tomorrow and Friday, October 17th and 18th for Fall Break. Thank you to those parents and families that came to conferences last night. For those that couldn't make it, we hope to see you in the spring.

Thank you to students and parents for allowing your child to participate in Surround the State in Song. We performed at South Middle School in Grand Forks. The students gave a fantastic performance 🎶

The Valdez family recently lost their home in a fire. On Wednesday, October 16th elementary students can bring $1 in and wear their favorite hat! The donations will go to the Valdez family.

Just a quick reminder that we have picture retakes today and Parent-Teacher Conferences tomorrow starting at 3:30.

The Agriculture Education classes of Foundations of Ag, Agri Science Technology and Ag Mechanics; toured the Waukon Dairy Thursday October 10th. They were able to learn the operation and able touch some of the hours old calfs.

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up next Tuesday evening. Jr. high and high school parents should have received an email this afternoon containing links which will allow you to sign up for a time slot. It may have gone to your junk folder. Elementary parents should have received a piece of paper or message from your child's teacher with a link on it. We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday evening.

This message is to remind you that today is our first early out. We will dismiss from the elementary school at 1:35 and from the high school at 1:45. This allows teachers and principals time to work on Professional Development topics.

Please encourage your kids to look in the lost and found for missing items. The clothes stretch the entire length of the hallway!

Special Thanks to Mike Opdahl and Bell Bank for the donation of 26 slightly used Lenovo Chromebooks.

Both first grade classes celebrated making their first reading goal with a walk to Sundae Brew for cookies, juice, and a story. A giant "thank you" to Nicole and Logan at Sundae Brew for opening up the shop for us. Way to go, first graders!! 💙📚
