In the Hillsboro Elementary Hallways: In Mrs. Elliot's third grade science class, they have been learning about force and friction! To test out different forces, they built catapults and tried to launch pom poms into cups. The students had to determine how much force they would need to get the Pom Pom into the cup. To test out friction, they went "ice skating" to see which materials had a lot friction and which materials had a little bit of friction. #BurroPride

In the Hillsboro Elementary Hallways: Miss Kroshus’s 4th grade class read the book, “The Best Part of Me” written by Wendy Ewald. After reading the book the students chose the best part of them and wrote about it. The completed working is hanging out in the hallway by the fourth-grade rooms! 😊
