Mrs. Nagel’s first graders read, “Snowmen at Night”, by Caralyn Buehner. Then they got to see a picture of Mr. Dryburgh’s very mischievous snowman. Her students then wrote a class story about what his snowman did to become bent! The students gifted their class story to Mr. Dryburgh and in turn, he read it to the class. These first graders had some silly, creative, and scientific ideas!

Hillsboro School District administrators will be conducting a tour of the high school on January 23rd from 6-7pm. Those interested should meet in the library. The tour’s primary focus is to explain reasons for a possible raise in the debt limit to taxpayers.
