Hillsboro School will stay 2 hours late, but we will not be running rural buses. Rural students will not be counted absent if you cannot make it to school today. Just let the office know.

The North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals has announced the 2023 North Dakota Academic All-State Teams. Two hundred two high school seniors were nominated by their school principal and competed for statewide honor in both Class A and B divisions. Student selection is based on grade-point averages, ACT or SAT scores, extracurricular activities, community involvement, and leadership qualities. Easton Baesler, son of Terry and Dori Baesler, has been named to the Academic All-State Silver Team. He will receive a Certificate of Merit and will be presented with a medallion during the televised "Parade Of Academic Champions" at the State Class B Boys Basketball Tournament in Bismarck on Friday, March 17. Congrats, Easton!

Mrs. Nagel’s first graders spent some time writing appreciation letters to the wonderful staff in the elementary building this last week. Today, students were able to hand deliver the valentines and spread some love/smiles to our staff. 🙌🏻 They also created some pretty neat valentine boxes, check it out!

Students and staff, there will be an opportunity for anyone who is interested in getting a FLU SHOT from our county health nurse on Thursday, February 16th at 8:00AM at the HS and 10AM at the elementary. A consent form is required. We need a parent or adult with young children. You will need your ND Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Sanford Health insurance, or Medicaid/Medicare card for payment.
