When asked…our students come to assist us in a big way. These students helped us move our new kitchen oven in today for their hot lunches. Thanks for your help! 👏👏#BurroPride

The CONNECT & GROW ND webinar series is a collaborative effort between DPI and the ND Department of Human Services — Early Childhood Division that provides opportunities for the early childhood community to interact, learn, and share resources. Each month features a new topic.
Join them on March 31 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (CST) for this month's event: "Dyslexia - What Do I Need to Know?" Thank you 👏👏Northern Lights Pulse for sponsoring Jessie Funk - a Mental Health Therapist. Some of her takeaways were:
What to say when someone is mean: “When you say those words. I don’t like that. “
When someone is being awful to you, say to yourself, “A truly happy person doesn’t mean to be mean.”
If you are ready to lash out check this acronym to see if it fits: Are you…
🫤Bored
😔Lonely
😡Angry
😋Hungry
😵💫Tired
Emotions are chemicals. What will shift chemicals in your body?
🏋️♂️Exercise = endorphins
🤗Hugs = oxytocin
🎤Music and 🥲crying also work.

Good Evening Hillsboro Families,
Due to the poor weather and visibility continuing throughout the night school and buses will be TWO HOURS LATE tomorrow, Tuesday, February 22nd.

This is the Hillsboro School. With the continued weather issues we will transition to e-learning today. All educators have communicated with our students and parents on how this will work at home. Please email your educator if you have any questions.

Due to the poor weather conditions school and buses will be two hours late today, Monday, February 21st.

With the possibility of bad weather hitting us…again…our educators are prepared to e-learn on Monday, February 21st if needed. School tomorrow so far is on and we would send out an alert if the school plans to do an e-learning day. If you DO NOT receive a message school IS in session tomorrow.
Thank You. Superintendent Suda
